“CAREERS FOR THE FUTURE” SUMMER INTERNSHIP – 2009 Requirements

Phase I:  ILI works with Indiana University Purdue University Indianapolis (IUPUI) Advising Center/Career Center to offer interns a series of workshops in the following topics: resume writing, job search techniques, interviewing skills, and job etiquette. Preparing interns is critical for a successful and rich internship experience.

Phase II:  Participating students interview for internships that ILI secures in diverse fields from technology and business, social services and health, to education and the arts and sciences. Then students will attend an all day orientation to receive information regarding the internship protocol. These are paid, short-term (80 hours) summer internships.
